What is the parameter of love

Can you say me that, what is the parameter of love. Or how can u judge that, if anyone loves you or not.
The answer is very simple. We judge people, that how much they love us, is how much effort they are giving on us? Effort is the parameter of love. You might think that mi word is worthless. But i can prove that it isn't. 
Example :  can you say me that, who love u most in this world?
Of course our parents.
And they are the persons who gave the most effort on us.
